Vladimir Talanov will take the floor at the VIII National Forum of the All-Russia Business Association "Delovaya Rossiya" National Business Initiative: Business-KPI for the Government

The VIII National Forum of “Delovaya Rossiya” National Business Initiative: Business-KPI for the Government will take place on May 25, 2012 in Moscow, co-organised by the Strategic Initiative Agency for new projects promotion (SIA). The Forum will be held with the official support and participation of the Government of the Russian Federation. Vladimir Talanov, international trade and customs expert at EPAM, will present his report at the Forum.

The Forum has been held since 2005 and it has already proved itself as a main stage for dialogue between the Russian Government and business community. The Forum annually brings together Russian businessmen, government authorities, leading business and expert associations from all over the Russia to discuss the key aspects of the country’s economic development.

"Delovaya Rossiya" and SIA are extensively developing a program, the National Business Initiative, which defines specific steps to address the most crucial issues of the country’s economic development, based on projects proposed by businessmen and focused on improving the efficiency and cost effectiveness of Russian business dealings. These projects are planned to be recommended to the new Cabinet of Ministers as a basis of the Roadmap – the new economic policy. Furthermore. the business community will present its envisioned goals (KPI) for the new Government.

During the session Business and foreign markets: customs administration and export promotion, Vladimir will present his report "Mapping the efficient support of Russian producers under the WTO rules: to-do-lists for businesses and the state?". In the course of the presentation, Vladimir will address issues underlying the current preparation to WTO accession, wherein he will identify the steps that are necessary to be taken by the government and business community in order to successfully protect their interests in the regime of further trade liberalization.
